Employment is permitted only for special employment eligible businesses in industries designated by the Immigration Control Act, such as manufacturing, agriculture/livestock/fisheries, and services.

- Initial employment commencement ⇒ Within 15 days from the date of starting employment
- Workplace change ⇒ Within 15 days from the date of changing workplace

- Direct visit to Immigration and Foreigners Office
- Online (Hi Korea) reporting or fax (☎1577-1346) reporting

- Employment Commencement Report for Visit and Employment Overseas Koreans, etc., copy of Special Employment Eligibility Confirmation, copy of Standard Employment Contract, copy of Business Registration Certificate, passport and copy, Alien Registration Card
※ In accordance with the unification of employment commencement and work commencement reporting methods between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, if the employer reports work commencement to the Employment Support Center, it is recognized as an employment commencement report to the Ministry of Justice as well
