Notification when changing contact information or email address
▪ When an appellant changes their contact information or email address, they must visit the local immigration and foreign affairs office that received the appeal application or notify the changed contact information or email address by phone (Foreigners Comprehensive Information Center: ☎ 1345 without area code).
▪ If the appellant does not notify the changed contact information or email address, they may fail to receive important communications related to the appeal, such as a request from the Refugee Review Committee for submission of materials or a summons to appear if the Committee deems it necessary to hear the appellant's oral statement. As a result, the appeal review may proceed without the appellant's materials or statement.
