Reporting Change of Residence
▪ When the applicant changes their place of residence, they must report the new place of residence to the community service center or local immigration office in charge of the new area within 15 days. (Immigration Control Act, Article 36, Paragraph 1)
▪ The report for change of residence can be submitted online through the HiKorea website, but if 15 days have passed since the change of residence, you must visit the local immigration office to report it.
▪ Please refer to page 2 of this notice for the method of calculating the period.
▪ If the applicant fails to report the changed place of residence within the deadline, they will be subject to a fine of up to 1 million won. (Immigration Control Act, Article 98)
