Foreigners can enter the Republic of Korea only if they do not fall under prohibited entry conditions, examples of which include the following cases.
Individuals recognized as infectious disease patients, drug addicts, or others likely to harm public health
Individuals attempting to illegally bring in firearms, swords, explosives, etc., as stipulated by the Firearms, Swords, and Explosives Control Act
Individuals for whom there is reasonable grounds to believe they are likely to engage in actions harming the interests of the Republic of Korea or public safety
Individuals for whom there is reasonable grounds to believe they are likely to engage in actions harming economic order, social order, or public morals
