The Foreign Entry Permit is a form that combines a passport and a visa. It is issued by an overseas diplomatic mission to nationals of countries that have not established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Korea (as of December 1999, Cuba and Macedonia) or countries designated by the Minister of Justice in consultation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade (none as of December 1999), as well as stateless persons residing in those countries, when they wish to enter the Republic of Korea, instead of affixing a visa to the passport.
