Allowance paid to a person who works exceeding the regular working hours. Working hours cannot be exceeded, but with the agreement between the parties, they can be extended by about 12 hours per week. If the employer has special circumstances, they can extend working hours with the approval of the Minister of Employment and Labor and the consent of the worker. However, if the situation is urgent and there is no time to obtain the approval of the Minister of Employment and Labor,
approval must be obtained without delay afterwards. If the Minister of Employment and Labor deems the extension of working hours inappropriate, they may order the provision of rest or holidays equivalent to the extension period thereafter. In this case, it must be paid by adding at least half of the regular wage. This applies similarly in the case of night work or holiday work.
