A system that provides at least one holiday per week. Article 55 of the Labor Standards Act stipulates that 'the employer shall grant paid holidays averaging at least one per week to workers,' thereby proclaiming the principle of the paid weekly holiday system. If work is required on such a weekly holiday, an additional 50% or more of the wages must be paid.
