What is Disability Benefit?

A benefit paid according to the degree of disability remaining in the body after a work-related injury has fully healed. It is divided into disability compensation lump sum and disability compensation pension, and the corresponding compensation daily amount is paid based on the disability grade. ·Disability Compensation Lump Sum: A benefit paid in a lump sum to the disabled person for the corresponding compensation daily amount by disability grade, classified from Grade 4 (1,012 daily amounts) to Grade 14 (55 daily amounts). Disability Compensation Pension: A benefit paid as a pension to the disabled person until death for the corresponding compensation daily amount by disability grade, classified from Grade 1 (329 daily amounts per year) to Grade 7 (138 daily amounts per year), with Grades 1 to 3 claimable only as disability compensation pension, and Grades 4 to 7 selectable as either pension or lump sum.
