What is a General Health Checkup?

It refers to the health checkup that employers conduct regularly on all regularly employed workers to protect workers' health by early detection of diseases (including occupational diseases) and health abnormalities (Article 43 of the Act). Starting from May 1995, the entity responsible for bearing the implementation costs was changed from the employer to the health insurance fund.
The examination items for general health checkups are as follows.
①Past medical history and work history
②Subjective symptoms and objective symptoms
③Blood pressure, anemia, blood sugar, urine sugar, and urine protein
④Weight, vision, and hearing
⑤Kidney, color vision, and blood type
⑥Chest X-ray
⑦Serum GOT and GPT, and total cholesterol
⑧Dental examination (missing teeth, periodontal disease, dental caries)
