An accident that occurs in conjunction with industrial activities and causes personal and material damage. In other words, it refers to cases where a worker suffers injury, illness, or death due to work, or facilities are destroyed (Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act). Such industrial accidents can occur due to the company's structures, equipment, raw materials, gas, steam, dust, etc., or due to the worker's own unsafe work actions. Industrial accidents are classified into labor accidents that harm workers' lives, public accidents that cause harm to the general public, and damage to industrial facilities alone.
