A business entity refers to individual management units that engage in industrial activities such as the production and sale of goods or the provision of services under a single ownership or control at a specific physical location, regardless of whether it is for-profit, non-profit, or a public office. ※Examples: headquarters, branch office, branch, factory, liaison office, sales office, store, bank, school, academy, private tutoring center, hospital, etc. ※Distinction between corporation and business entity: A corporation may consist of one or more business entities, and if a single corporation operates in multiple locations, each location is considered a separate business entity.
