An act of receiving or attempting to receive unemployment benefits through false or other improper methods (Employment Insurance Act Article 47). •Examples of fraudulent acts: False reporting of the date of acquiring or losing insured status, false entry of reason for leaving job and wage amount, failure to report employment status or income from side jobs, using another person's qualifications, forgery and false entry of certificates and attached documents, disguised dismissal •Measures for fraudulent receipt: Suspend payment for unpaid unemployment benefits, and for received unemployment benefits, issue a return order and additionally collect an amount equivalent thereto.
