What is Statutory Working Hours?

It refers to the standard working hours stipulated by law. According to the Labor Standards Act, in principle, it is 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, and for workers aged 15 or older but under 18, it shall not exceed 7 hours per day and 40 hours per week. However, with agreement between the parties, it can be extended up to 1 hour per day and 6 hours per week.
