The amount paid by adding a certain percentage of the normal wage when required to work at night, on holidays, or overtime in excess of the legal working hours. The Labor Standards Act stipulates that an additional payment of more than 50/100 of the normal wage shall be paid in the following cases: 1) when employees are made to work beyond the legal working hours, 2) when they are made to work at night (work from 20:00 to 06:00 the next day), and 3) when they are made to work on holidays (Article 55 of the Labor Standards Act).
