Among workers who entered the Republic of Korea under the Employment Permit System (E-9), there are nine countries, including China, the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Mongolia must choose between its home country and Korea to join, and Uzbekistan is an exempt country.
Additionally, five countries are excluded from the application, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste.
