1. Reasons for Taking the Test (Test Purpose)
• To evaluate how well foreign job seekers can speak Korean.
• To check how well they understand Korean society and culture.
• It serves as a fair standard for selecting people who can adapt well to life and work in Korea.
2. Test Duration and Number of Questions
• Total test time: 50 minutes
• Total number of questions: 40 questions (out of 100 points)

3. What Does It Evaluate? (Evaluation Content)
• Basic conversational skills needed for daily life in Korea
• Korean language skills needed in workplaces such as factories or farms (industrial sites)
• Understanding of Korean company culture and rules
4. Who Can Take the Test? (Eligibility)
All of the following 5 conditions must be met.
• Age: Persons aged 18 to 39 years old
• Criminal record: Persons with no history of imprisonment for a crime (those who have not received a sentence of imprisonment or heavier)
• Deportation record: Persons with no history of forced removal from Korea (forced deportation and exit measures)
• Exit restrictions: Persons with no legal issues leaving their country for abroad
• Period of stay in Korea: Persons whose total period of work in Korea under the 'Non-professional Employment (E-9) visa' and 'Seafarer Employment (E-10) visa' does not exceed 5 years
5. What Are the Passing Criteria?
• Evaluation method: Applicants are selected in order of highest scores up to the required number of people. (Relative evaluation)
• Minimum passing score: Applicants must exceed the following basic scores depending on the type of job. (Out of 100 points)
Manufacturing (factories, etc.): 60 points or higher
Other industries (agriculture, construction, etc.): 45 points or higher
Fishing (special case): 30 points or higher (evaluated only as pass/fail instead of score)
