A foreigner staying in the Republic of Korea who temporarily leaves the country during the permitted stay period and intends to re-enter to stay in the Republic of Korea again must obtain a re-entry permit before departing. The types of re-entry permits include the 'Single Re-entry Permit,' which allows re-entry only once after obtaining the permit, and the 'Multiple Re-entry Permit,' which allows re-entry two or more times.
